Lisa Wallis BA MSW (Q)

Lisa is a qualified social worker and PR & communications consultant with a deep love for nature. Her professional journey includes supporting families and children navigating trauma and challenging circumstances.

In her early twenties, Lisa faced the heartbreaking loss of a childhood friend, who she had grown up surfing with, in a tragic car accident. To cope with the overwhelming grief, she took a hiatus from the ocean for several years. However, she eventually returned to surfing and discovered a beatiful sense of solace and peace in the waves.

Encouraged by her local community, Lisa is now passionate about creating a supportive environment for those experiencing grief and loss in her hometown. She believes that a connection with the ocean can provide therapeutic benefits that help people process their emotions, particularly in times of sorrow. “The ocean teaches us how to let go, practice breathwork, and navigate difficult feelings without allowing them to overwhelm us.”
