Victor is a facilitator with Waves of Grief based in Moss Beach, California, and originally from Costa Rica. He came to this role through his own experience of loss and the meaningful support he found in this community.
Curious, empathetic, and quietly disarming, Victor creates spaces where people feel comfortable showing up as they are. He brings a grounded presence, along with a touch of lightheartedness, to help others feel accepted and supported in whatever they are carrying.
With a deep connection to the ocean and a love of surfing, Victor relates to grief as something that moves in waves—inviting us to feel rather than resist. He finds that the ocean can offer space for reflection, processing, and connection beyond words.
Victor is grateful to now hold space for others in the same way he once was, and is committed to supporting spaces where all experiences of grief are welcome.
