Bailey Sonne

Bailey is a passionate, lifelong student of nature and human connection. In Bailey’s own journey through grief she experienced first hand how the ocean and surfing were incredibly supportive in the process of transforming pain into living resilience. In addition to spending time in the ocean, she finds meditation, dance, and growing gardens to be meaningful allies for wellbeing and loves to share and connect in these spaces with others. She is humbled to be a part of the Waves of Grief Collective and is excited to be offering this community space in Santa Cruz where she lives locally. Her intention as a grief facilitator is to co-create a space where all are welcome, just as you are- a container to lean into for support in some of life’s most difficult moments while connecting with the alive and abundant landscapes around us.

Bailey is currently completing her masters in counseling psychology towards LMFT licensure. She feels deep purpose in helping people build and discover inner and outer resources, while making meaning through the ups and downs of life’s waves.
